In this short series, we will be talking with Pretty Technical team members about their experiences working within our global team. Here’s a word from our Business Development Executive, Antony!
“Although I haven’t been working at Pretty Technical for long, I have already learnt so much about the exciting world of iGaming, and the technology that powers it. Day to day I am working alongside the rest of the experienced PT team who are always willing to share their knowledge of the iGaming industry and the technology it’s built on.
I am well and truly part of Pretty Technical’s ‘global team’, as I am based in Helsinki, Finland. PT’s ‘remote first’ structure allows me to work from anywhere in the world, providing exciting opportunities to relocate and continue to be a member of the PT team, wherever you are. There’s always the worry that being part of a remote team that there isn’t going to be the community ‘culture’ that you have working in the same office, but our team couldn’t feel any more connected. We have regular calls and meetings, as well as communal chats in Slack where people share their own news and messages. It’s always interesting to see what my colleagues in Venezuela ate for breakfast, or what the average Spanish weekend looks like.
Our culture is very much based around open communication and collaboration between the departments to achieve goals, both in our professional and personal lives. The management team really empowers people by encouraging them to take ownership of responsibilities within the company. Hopefully it won’t be long until I will be able to fly over to the UK to meet more of the Pretty Technical and Rokker Network family.
I joined PT several months ago in a Sales Support role, and would like to continue to expand my knowledge of the industry to actively sell our products and bespoke development solutions to clients. I know that this company will give me the space to grow my knowledge base and allow me to shape myself into my ideal role. In the future I would like to be an integral part of the Business Development team, and help contribute towards strategic decisions within the company.
I would love to see PT continue to grow and establish itself as a strong presence within the iGaming industry with a suite of modern products and a portfolio of unique bespoke software solutions.”
